Melnik is situated ca. 30 km northly from Prague at the confluence of Vltava and Labe (Elbe). The locality ist the most northly situated wineyard area of Bohemia. The tourists can visit the local Chateau with wine cellars of earl Lobkowicz and try his wines. Very popular is as well local natural reservation Kokorinsko with gothic castle Kokorin.
