Cesky Krumlov
The city was founded in the beginning of 13th century. From these times there remained a wonderful historical town centre, which is today saved by UNESCO.
The greatest rise of the city took place under the earls of Rosenberg. Untill 1600 they mined a silver around the town. At this time the most rennaissance- and late-gothic-houses in Krumlov were built, as well as the chateau on the site of old castle. Thank to its wonderful and very individual historical atmosphere, Cesky Krumlov is one of the belovest tourist destinations in the Czech Republic.
